Opera

Fabienne has an extensive and varied operatic repertoire. She has sung most of the lead roles in Puccini's operas including Liu (Turandot), Musetta (La Bohème), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) and Cio Cio San, in a touring production of 'Madam Butterfly' directed by Terry John Bates and performed in the USA. She has also covered the role of Tosca.

Her Verdi roles include Violetta (La Traviata), Amelia (A Masked Ball), and the title role in 'Luisa Miller'. She has also performed Donna Anna in Mozart's 'Don Giovanni' and the First Lady and First Boy in his 'Magic Flute'.

Her French repertoire covers most of the important roles. She has sung Marguerite in Gounod's 'Faust', Antonia and Giulietta in 'The Tales of Hoffmann' (Offenbach), Micaela in Carmen (Bizet), and Leïla in 'The Pearl Fishers' by Bizet in which she has recently toured with Swansea City Opera.

Other roles are Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana), Helmwige (Die Walküre), Woglinda (Das Rheingold), and the Mad Boy in Alexander Goehr's 'Sonata about Jerusalem'.

She has performed with numerous opera companies around the UK including London City Opera, First Act Opera, Swansea City Opera, Garden Opera, Opera Box, and Cambridge City Opera.

Fabienne recently sang the role of Musetta in Opera Box's touring production of 'La Bohème'.
